When I started Alchemy, my mission was simple: to help people feel good in their skin. For years, that’s meant focusing on advanced tattooing, paramedical work, and offering services that bring confidence and healing to so many. Now, I’m taking a small, thoughtful step into another area: basic ear and nostril piercings.
I’ll be honest - this wasn’t an easy decision. The piercing industry can be tricky to navigate, and for many, it’s a tight-knit world with its own rules, traditions, and expectations. A lot of talented tattoo artists feel judged for crossing over, especially without a traditional year-long apprenticeship. For those of us who already run busy businesses and have years of experience working with needles, skin, and strict cross-contamination standards, it can feel unnecessarily gate-kept.
But here’s the thing: my clients have been asking for this. Some people feel more comfortable getting a simple piercing in a clean, familiar studio with someone they already trust, especially those who prefer a more medical or private environment. I’m already trained in advanced skin procedures and bloodborne pathogen safety, and I’ve made sure to build this out responsibly, with the same high standards you expect.
For now, I’m keeping it simple: lobes, cartilage, and nostrils. It’s the basics done right, in a calm setting, by someone who genuinely cares about your comfort and safety.
I know some people may have their opinions about tattoo artists offering piercing services. I understand that perspective, and I respect the work that dedicated piercers put into their craft. But I also believe in meeting my clients where they are, and giving them an option that feels trustworthy and welcoming.
So if you’ve been wanting a new ear stack, a single stud, or a classic nose piercing, I’m here for you - no fuss, no intimidation, just good work done carefully.
